Update

I haven't been creating much lately. We are in the process of moving, and yes, I am 37 weeks pregnant. Life has been really crazy lately, but I am still really healthy and the baby is doing great so that is all that really matters.

I would love to see what everyone else has been up to lately in creating. I really don't care what the creation is I just need some inspiriation for things to do after this weekend. So leave a comment.

I know this is a craft blog but....

I did not watch the Miss USA pageant on Sunday but this morning I saw the videos of Miss Californias answer to a question from a judge that asked if she thought that all the states in the USA should legalize same sex marriage.

You go Miss Cali. Stand up for yourself. She said that she thinks that marriage should be between a man and a woman, and that she did not want to offend anyone. I think that it is great that she said what she thinks. I think that she was gracious about it.

This morning on the news the gay judge that asked the question was p/oed because she did not answer the question politically correct. I think that there is too much political correct going around. Enough beating around the bush.

Miss California... Thanks for your honesty, even though it was hard and you may have lost because of it.

More Chunky Watch Bands

I made more of the watch bands. They look so good I think! They are for sale in my etsy shop. I love making these they are so much fun!

The Final Wedding

No I am not giving up decorating weddings totally....just until after the baby arrives and I am back up on my feet again. So pretty much I am missing the peak wedding season, but I am ok with that.

I did not think 3-4 months ago when I was scheduling the weddings that I would be this tired/exhausted, but I am.

This is the first time that I have used sage green for decorations and I love them. I also love the ceiling with the chandeliers and the curtains hanging down and tied.

Crayon Roll

I had seen these all across the web and have thought that my dd would love to have one for church (it would also keep her bag a lot cleaner/organized). I did adjust the pattern for fabric and stuff that I already had on hand.

So I finally broke down and made it. She loves it of course and it more than serves its purpose!

Baby Headbands and Flowers

A few weeks ago I was at a local craft store and they had this stretchy, elastic stuff for baby head bands. I thought that I would give it a try for my baby that is on the way. It was only like 79 cents a yard so I got quite a few headbands out of it (I have lots of friends and family that are having babys soon). They did not have any white or brown, but I think that they will be cute. I cut them about 11 inches long and then sewed the ends together after I head sealed each end.
You all know that I decorate weddings. The other day I got an itch to make some flowers for the new one and for the toddler. So I raided the wedding supply and made these. I think that they turned out really cute.
