Now Offering Fabric-Riley Blake Flannel and Shannon Minky Fabric

There are so many adorable fabrics out there that I would love to use in my rag quilts and car seat tents....but they are so stinking expensive.  So I have decided to start buying wholesale and selling a limited amount of each bolt of fabric (the little bit that I won't be using in those quilts and tents :)

I have especially found that finding boy fabric that is CUTE but not Character stuff is really hard to come by...that is one reason that I love the Riley Blake Fabrics!  It is even harder to find boy stuff that is in Flannel....

So far I have minky (from Shannon Fabrics so its the SUPER SOFT GOOD STUFF):
Black Smooth Minky
Hot Pink Smooth Minky
Dark Turquoise Polka Dot Minky
Dark Turquoise Ribbon Cuddle Minky

Wanna Be A Cowboy Flannel Fabric From Riley Blake
All Star Riley Blake Bullseye

Riley Blake All Stars Main Stars Blue

Riley Blake Blue Stripe from All Stars line

To view all the fabric that I have available in my Etsy Shop go to HERE

What is your favorite fabric?  for a boy and for a girl?  I HEART fabrics that are not too girly (or REALLY super GIRLY)  For boys...I love fabrics that SCREAM boy but don't scream characters...or baby.  Make Sense?

Easter Egg Wreath Tutorial

This fun Easter Egg wreath was so much fun to make with my daughter.  She LOVED hot gluing all the eggs.   I even let go of my OCDness for a minute and didn't care so much where each egg went.

I have had all of the supplies for this wreath for a couple of weeks but finally had time to sit down and help my daughter make it.

HOW TO MAKE THE EASTER EGG WREATH:
Find a piece of cardboard that is flat and then find something that is round (or whatever shape you are wanting) and trace out the shape.
(keep in mind my daughter was taking the pictures :)
Here is our cardboard circle all cut out
Now take your hot glue gun and glue the eggs randomly onto the wreath.  I used 2 packages of 42 eggs to make our wreath.  The wreath measures about 16 inches wide.
Here is our wreath all glued together
Then we tied a nice little bow with grosgrain ribbon onto the wreath.

Beautiful Eh?
Thanks for looking!

Where have you BEEN? Ok its just me!

I am sorry I have been MIA for a few days.  We FINALLY sold our house in St George (5 yrs later, 1 apartment later, and the inlaws house).  You have NO idea how excited I am.  Nervous too.  Elated.  Relieved. Stressed.  Happy.

So we are now in the market.  Yippeeeeeeeee!

The problem is that we are not in one of those AWE-SOME buyer markets.  No super duper deals out there for us.  Sad?  kinda!

So now we are trying to decide what kind of house we want.  Are we going to build a house that we would live in FOREVER?  Or are we going to buy a house that we will live in for 10 yrs?  Don't know yet.

I will probably be pretty sparse the next couple of weeks while we sort through our HUGE decision ahead of us.

I will definitely keep you all up to speed.  You all have no idea how excited I am to find that pair of shoes that has been lost in a box for the last 3 years.  Or to re fall in love with my furniture.  To just decorate my own house again.  I am so excited!

A Vision to Remember 100% of Pattern sales to be Donated to Japan

I been following the devastation in Japan closely since the Earthquake and the Tsunami occurred.  I have been wondering what I could do to help out.  So what I am doing is donating 100% of all pattern sales from my etsy shop to the American Red Cross.  I am hoping to raise $100 and I am 1/2 way there.

If you have been on the fence about getting one the patterns that I offer now is a great time to do so :)  If you know someone that you think would be interested...share :)  A little bit of money will go such a long way in helping those that are in need.

If you would like to just donate please visit HERE

Thanks for all your support!

If you know of an etsy shop that is donating to Japan please feel free to leave a link to their shop in the comments below so everyone can check out their shops.  Thanks again!
